Salix bushes come in many different varieties. Our nursery offers a few of these varieties. They all prefer very wet soil and will thrive if the old growth if 1/3 of the old growth and crossing branches are pruned back every year. 

The Hakuru Nishiki plant provides constant green/white foliage during the season which turns a pink color in the summer. 

 

Various Salix Species including Hakuru Nishiki and Pussy Willows. 

Growth Rate: 12-18" per year (can establish slow)

Max Size: 5'x6'       

Light Requirement: Part to full sun

Bloom Time: Spring

Color: Doesn't flower. Foliage remains white/green and turns pink with season - Hakuro Niskiki

         Get white or black "willows" in early spring before foliage grows - Willows
